Introduction
Asian Institute of Technology is organizing SEAGAL workshop on GNSS in Thailand during March 15- 17, 2010, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.
South East as a centre on European GNSS for international cooperation and Local development (SEAGAL) project in collaboration with AIT, Istituto Superior Mario Boella, Italy, Politecnico Di Torino, Italy, Universidad Politecnica De Catalunya, Spain, Universite De Franche-Comte, France and Hanoi Universtiy of Technology, Vietnam, aim to set up European GNSS (Global Navigations Satellite Systems) collaboration centre in support of educational, commercial and technical needs in South-East Asia. The goal is to establish a new link between Europe and South-East Asia in the framework of satellite navigations and related applications. The main purpose is to create new opportunities to develop the markets for Galileo applications both for consumers and manufacturers. The centre activities will be also focused on educations and technology transfer activities. SEGAL supports the Galileo mission, the European Navigations System that will be available in near future.
The workshop will have key note and invited presentations from peers, technology trends from industry, poster presentation, brain storming sessions. Be assured of an exciting workshop to introduce the huge opportunities in future for research, development and implementation of Location Based Services and applications using GNSS.
